With over 160 members, the Bed and Breakfast Association of Alaska offers visitors variety in lodging choices, from luxury to rustic, from homestays to cabins, from one end of the state to the other. Since B&Bs provide one-third of all lodging rooms in Alaska, give a BBAA bed and breakfast a try when you are traveling in Alaska.
For over a decade, the BBAA has been a member organization dedicated to helping visitors to Alaska find quality accommodations and providing members with education and cooperative marketing.
BBAA’s Standards and Ethics require members to meet thresholds for visitors’ comfort and safety. Regional B&B associations that are members of BBAA support BBAA’s mission. B&Bs that are located within the areas covered by a local B&B association must pass their quality assurance standards, and members located in outlying areas of the state must seek a peer to perform an inspection to assure standards are met.
Many BBAA bed and breakfast hosts are long-time Alaskans who enjoy sharing local knowledge, ideas of what to do and see, and can tell you what it’s like to live in their area.
